Mini workshop at YUM

Another volunteer trip to Desa YUM Cipanas :) This time..with Dinda, Nurul and Olive! YUM opened a Vocational Training Centre (VTC) in Cipanas. They have sewing class, where students learn to sew and make something from used materials. And hopefully they can acquire skills to later on find jobs. Me and my friends were giving them a mini workshop about patterns, patchworks and colors last Sunday. As always...a nice way to spend your Sunday...volunteering...a bit of traveling...fun!

Tie Dye Fiesta :)

Spent 2 days at Desa YUM Cipanas last weekend. Me and my friends (Mela, Dinda, Gita) were volunteering for some activities there with the kids. We thaught them how to make Tie Dye bag and t-shirts. It was great to see the kids' faces. They were all very enthusiastic about it :)

Good friends and 100 kids, blessed weekend...need to say more? :)

Art paper activities :)

Year 9 BIS Kids were there too for some community service. I was there to help them with the art paper activities. But first, I joined the morning activities for pre-school and they were playing outside :)

There's always a nice feeling after you volunteered for something like this :)

I was really happy to join the first day of the new Desa YUM Cipanas pre-school. They asked me and Rachel, to observed the class :)
