Marcel Marlier

I love children's book and I collect them. Marcel Marlier is one of my favorite illustrator. Marcel Marlier is a Belgian artist and illustrator. The French publisher were interested in finding talented artists to illustrate works for school children. Marlier won the competition. Then Marcel Marlier colaborate with Gilbert Delahaye to make Tiny..Martine..Mary..Debbie..Aysegu...Marinka. And they make it in several languages. 

One of my favorite collection and I still have some of it till now :)

Indonesian textiles, arts and craft ♥

One of the pleasures of living in Indonesia is having the opportunity to learn about and collect Indonesian arts and handicrafts. We have lots of culture. Every culture has its own language, cuisine, traditional dress, traditional homes, their own textiles, ornaments, carvings and items for daily use and special celebrations. And they're all beautiful in their own unique way.

Meatless Monday: Cheddar, Spinach, and Pepper Omelet Sandwich

I love sandwiches. Simple food especially with eggs and cheese? you can count me in :) I found this "Meatless monday cheddar spinach and pepper omelet sandwich" from foodista blog . For me, I can have this not only for mondays :)

Ingredients :

1	medium red bell pepper, chopped
½	large sweet onion, chopped
½	cup cheddar cheese
2	large egg whites
2	large eggs
1	tablespoon nonfat milk
	salt and pepper to taste
2	bagels, sliced in halves
1 ½	cups bagged baby spinach leaves

	-Whisk eggs, egg whites, nonfat milk, salt and pepper in a large bowl, set aside.
	-Add bell pepper and onion to large nonstick skillet pan with a little olive oil, and saute on high heat for a few minutes until softened.
	-Turn down heat to medium; add egg mixture, tilting pan so the entire bottom is evenly covered.
	-Cook for a few minutes.
	-Pop entire pan under broiler. Broil 2 minutes, or until lightly browned.
	-Arrange four bagel halves on a nonstick pan, cover with cheese. Broil until cheese is melted.
	-Cut omelet in half, put on two different bagel halves.
	-Top with a large handful of baby spinach and remaining halves.

World Humanitarian Day - 19 August ☺

The 2010 World Humanitarian Day project is a collaborative film shot in over 40 countries in under 9 weeks, on a shoestring budget - with the goal of showing the enormous diversity of places, faces and endeavors of humanitarian aid workers in 2010.

It was filmed by humanitarian staff and freelance filmmakers from around the globe (over 50 contributors in total) with all time donated.
