Homemade Caramelized Peaches With Ice Cream

How I love peaches :)
Today I want to make something from it...it's easy! I took some pics so i can share it with you..

Ingredients:
4 tablespoon unsalted butter, cut into pieces
3/4 cup sugar
6 small peaches or 4 big peaches, unpeeled
1 pint of vanilla ice cream
a pinch of cinnamon
you can add walnuts or almonds or pistachios

But then again...everything depends on your taste...you can change the amount of the ingredients you want to use. And you can add apples too.

 Directions:
1. Heat the oven to 200 degrees celcius.
2. Combine the butter, sugar, vanilla and 1/4 cup water in a baking dish. Place the dish into the heating oven until the butter melts. Remove from oven then stir and combine.
3. Cut the peaches into half or up to you...you can cut it into smaller pieces, whichever you like. Arrange it in the baking dish (that has butter, sugar, vanilla) and roast until the peaches are tender. Probably for 20-30minutes.
4. You can add wallnuts or almonds or pistachios while you roast the peaches.

After finished...viola....

Get some of the peaches and put it in a bowl. Add 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream next to it. And pour the juice (the mixture of butter, sugar, vanilla)...with the wallnuts too.
You can add a pinch of cinnamon on top too....i just loovveee cinnamon :)

It's easy right? try it :)

Eric Carle

Eric Carle is another favorite of mine when it comes to children's book.
I love his artwork with the children's book. His art work is created in collage technique, using hand-painted papers, which he cuts and layers to form bright and colorful images. The themes of his stories are usually drawn from his extensive knowledge and love of nature, an interest shared by most small children, an opportunity to learn something about the world around them.

I collect his books now. I love all of his books...but if I have to choose 4 of my favorites...then it will be "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"..."The mixed up Chameleon"..."Mister Seahorse"...and "Slowly slowly said the Sloth".
Especially "Mister Seahorse" with magical see through pages...and "Slowly slowly said the Sloth"...he worked together with one of my hero whom I admired so much, Jane Gooddall :)

Eric Carle quotes :
“With many of my books I attempt to bridge the gap between the home and school. To me home represents, or should represent; warmth, security, toys, holding hands, being held. School is a strange and new place for a child. Will it be a happy place? There are new people, a teacher, classmates—will they be friendly?
I believe the passage from home to school is the second biggest trauma of childhood; the first is, of course, being born. Indeed, in both cases we leave a place of warmth and protection for one that is unknown. The unknown often brings fear with it. In my books I try to counteract this fear, to replace it with a positive message. I believe that children are naturally creative and eager to learn. I want to show them that learning is really both fascinating and fun.”
 ♥ it!

Personally I think his books are the best for children, you should get it for your kids.

And they're all beautiful in their own unique way.
