Dolls and Diapers for Kids :)

I'm blessed to be surrounded by good frriends with good hearts....two of them are Anton from The GoodsDept and Zack from CountMeInID.

We're collecting dolls and diapers for the kids at RSCM, either at in the Gedung A cancer ward or BcH, where sick kids go to recover after anything. I remember when I went to RSCM's children cancer ward...it was an experience.

This is Zack's explanation about the dolls and diapers: "All the stuffed animals and diapers go to the kids in RSCM Cipto. Either at in the Gedung A cancer ward or BcH, where sick kids go to recover after anything from being hit by a car to a burn victim. The diapers go to the moms. Sometimes diapers are one of the heaviest financial burdens. The hope is that having a stockpile of dolls (1,242) and stuffed animals means that we'll be giving the dolls out all year. So we can tell people in say April, "Hey remember when you donated dolls in October, well we are headed to RSCM Cipto again today, the first five volunteers to sign up can meet us at Cipto and hand out the dolls donated in October." The hope is to have programs run all year to encourage folks to come out and volunteer. Donating dolls now means we can have them all cleaned and ready to go right into the arms of the kids."

Yes, little things do count...if we can help, why not?

So starting on Saturday (Sept 7th 2013), thanks to Anton and TheGoodsDept team...., you can drop off stuffed animals (and diapers) at The GoodsDept in Pacific Place and Pondok Indah Mall II.

And i'm very happy to be part of this :))
